The Pollution Prevention and Good Housekeeping (PPGH) Program is designed to minimize the potential for operations and maintenance related activities to cause polluted stormwater runoff, which may enter into the MS4 and ultimately discharge into the ocean. This program implements Best Management Practices such as street sweeping, storm drain structure inspection and cleaning, outfall inspection and repair, and good housekeeping activities at our maintenance baseyards to reduce the potential for polluted stormwater runoff to enter the MS4.
